Worum geht es in Puschel, das Eichhorn?
Puschel, das Eichhörnchen, hat schon viel Aufregendes erlebt, bevor es in den Wald zurückkommt. Wie das kleine Glöckchen um seinen Hals anzeigt, war es bei den Menschen gewesen. Eine Katze hat Puschel großgezogen, aber nach einem Brand auf dem Bauernhof verschlägt das Schicksal den kleinen Puschel zu seinen Artgenossen und den anderen Tieren des Waldes. Hier nun erlebt er viele lustige, aber auch gefährliche Abenteuer. Seine Freunde sind ein weiser Uhu, ein Waschbär, Großvater Eichhörnchen, Hasen und Sue, mit der Puschel am Ende drei Kinder haben wird. Seine Feinde und Widersacher sind Fuchs, Adler, Mensch und Hund, zwei freche Mäuse und sein Nebenbuhler, den er am Schluss im fairen Zweikampf besiegt.
