Worum geht es in Erementar Gerad?
Der junge Luftpirat Coud findet eine riesige Schatztruhe, in der sich ein hübsches Mädchen befindet. Sie stellt sich als Ren vor, eine lebende Waffe vom Stamm der "Edilraid", die in Verbindung mit einem Menschen ungeahnte mystische Kräfte freisetzen kann! Coud beschließt Ren auf ihrer Reise nach Edil Garden zu begleiten und zu beschützen. Bald schon tauchen alle möglichen Gestalten auf, die sich Rens und des mystischen Schatzes "Elemental Gerad" bemächtigen wollen. Verfolgt wird Coud auch noch von Cisqua mit ihren Gefolgsleuten Rowen und Kuea, von denen Coud am Anfang nicht recht weiß, ob sie eher Freunde oder Feinde sind. Auf der Reise nach Edil Garden muss Coud immer wieder mit Ren verschmelzen und in gefährlichen Kämpfen gegen andere Edilraids antreten...

Coud and the others are no match against Ren reacted with the three Chaos Choir leaders, but they continue to fight to save Ren. During the battle, Eve contacts Coud telepathically to sing a song within him. Chanting the song, Ren regains control of her body and sings the lost song with Coud. Contracts between Edel Raids and pleasures are broken and the Chaos Choir leaders are shocked because they did not believe the prophecy will come true. They declare their defeat and the war is over. Coud goes back to his life as a Red Lynx sky pirate and Ren stays with him in the end.
