Worum geht es in Paranormal Asylum?
Mark kehrt gerade enttäuscht aus L.A. zurück, wo er sich erfolglos als Drehbuchautor versuchte. Deshalb hat er auch nicht viel zu verlieren, als ihn sein Kumpel Andy bittet, an dessen Dokufilmprojekt mitzuarbeiten über ein angebliches Geisterkrankenhaus, in dem einst die berühmte Typhus-Mary wirkte. Mit von der Partie ist Andys Verlobte Michelle. Die steht dem Projekt zunächst reserviert gegenüber, entwickelt vor Ort aber einigen Enthusiasmus und beginnt sogar zum stillen Schrecken von Mark, Züge der Typhus-Mary anzunehmen.
