Worum geht es in The Love of Jeanne Ney?
In den Nachwirren der Russischen Oktoberrevolution von 1917: Als die Rote Armee die Krim besetzt, wird dort Jeanne's Vater, französischer Journalist und Sympathisant der Weißgardisten, ermordet. Mit Hilfe des Bolschewiken Andreas, in den sich Jeanne verliebt hat, gelingt ihr die Flucht nach Paris. Dort kommt sie bei ihrem Onkel unter und kann in dessen Detektivbüro arbeiten. Andreas gelingt es, als kommunistischer Agent nach Paris zu kommen und Jeanne wieder zu treffen. Das gemeinsame Glück ist nur von kurzer Dauer…
