¿De qué trata OBSOLETE?
La historia se desarrolla en la tierra en una línea de tiempo alternativa, en la que existen mechas operados neuronalmente de 2,55 metros de altura, conocidos como Exoframes. La tecnología Exoframe se originó a partir de extraterrestres que hicieron contacto con la humanidad en 2014, y pidieron intercambiar una tonelada de piedra caliza a cambio de un Exoframe. Más baratos que los aviones, tanques o armas de fuego, y utilizable por cualquier persona, el uso de los Exoframe se extiende fácilmente por todo el mundo.
