Waar gaat Horus: Prince of the Sun over?
Wanneer de jongen Horus in het nabijgelegen bos het legendarische ‘Zwaard van de Zon’ uit de 'duivelse rots' trekt, haast hij zich naar zijn vader om hem het zwaard te geven. Wanneer zijn vader komt te overlijden, vertrouwt deze het zwaard aan Horus toe. Vanaf het moment dat Horus het zwaard wordt toevertrouwd, wordt hij tevens belast met de loodzware taak om zijn volk te bevrijden van een monster.
