Waar gaat The Cat and the Dragon over?
De draak "Oom Vleugels", die vanaf zijn geboorte wees is, wordt opgenomen door een familie van magische katten en als een van hen opgevoed. Naarmate Oom Vleugels opgroeit, wordt hij de beschermer van de katten en is hij vastbesloten hen te beschermen tegen mensen. Maar terwijl hij ziet hoe de katten via hun magie contact maken met mensen, begint Oom Vleugels langzaam aan ook sympathie voor mensen te voelen in dit ontroerende, bitterzoete verhaal.
