Waar gaat The Heroic Legend of Arslan over?
Arslan is de troonopvolger van Pars, een sterke natie die aan de rand van de handelsroute ligt die het Oosten en het Westen met elkaar verbindt. Wanneer de heidense natie Lusitania een invasie van Pars begint, wordt de timide Arslan voor het eerst geconfronteerd met een gevecht. Zijn ergste angsten worden bewaarheid: het Parsiaanse leger valt voor een Lusitanische krijgslist en wordt op de vlucht gejaagd.
