Waar gaat The Phantom of the Opera over?
Wanneer Christine Day per ongeluk een zeldzaam muziekstuk ontdekt, brengt ze de componist Erik Destler weer tot leven. Door haar fascinatie voor de muziek wordt ze teruggevoerd naar Destlers tijd, 1889, en wordt ze beroemd door zijn opera te zingen zoals niemand anders dat kan.
